Graduate Management Admission Test, is the most common test used by business schools to assess candidates. The test consists of four sections: analytical writing, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and integrated reasoning.
What is the GMAT eligibility criteria?
The GMAT has no specific eligibility requirements. The only requirement is that the applicant is at least 18 years old. Candidates between the ages of 12 and 17 are eligible to take the test if they provide written proof of their parent's consent.
4 subjects of GMAT :
GMAT exam includes four sections namely Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude Section, and Verbal Reasoning Section. Each section is designed to test different skill sets. Analytical Writing Assessment contains 1 topic that is to be answered in 30 minutes.
Is GMAT sufficient for MBA
Top MBA programs often require a GMAT score of 700 or above, although this does not automatically exclude applicants with scores below 650 from admission. A candidate's GMAT score affects his or her application to a great extent.
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is conducted by Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) and is open to candidates from around the world. However, a candidate’s eligibility should be ascertained before registering for GMAT. In addition, the eligibility criteria of GMAT should always be considered keeping in mind the eligibility criteria of your preferred B-school. If you match the GMAT requirements but fail to match the eligibility of your targeted business program, you will be denied to take admission, no matter how good your GMAT scores are. Age limit:
The minimum age is 13 years. Applicants between 13 and 18 years of age will need an official permission letter from their guardians or parents to appear for the examination. Applicants above 18 years can apply without any permission. There is no upper limit on age for the GMAT examination.
